Brakes
Changes were made to reduce weight and pedal effort. The brake links are steel where ever possible to reduce flex under pressure.
The brake pads are from Ferodo DS 3000 chosen for their high Coefficient of Friction of .62 cold or hot.

The pedal ratio was changed from 2.5:1 to 4.5:1 to reduce pedal effort.

The brake discs weight only 7.5 lb each to improve ride quality and reduce rotational inertia.
